NRA Defensive Pistol Description
The NRA Defensive Pistol Course is designed to teach participants the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to carry and use a concealed pistol ethically, responsibly, and with confidence. The course focuses on developing a defensive mindset and includes techniques such as applying NRA Rules for Safe Gun Handling, principles of concealment, drawing from a holster, and clearing common stoppages. Participants will receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Personal Protection Outside the Home handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, and the NRA Defensive Pistol certificate upon completion.
